Description

Hailing Waldorf's first synthesizer release, the Microwave 1 plug-in holds true to the synth's most notable, decades-old features, propelling software synthesis into historical new heights. Both instrument wavetable oscillators are accounted for and meticulously designed at the bit level for parallel performance with real Microwave hardware. Likewise, A and B analog filters, dual LFOs, and original sound sets are included to retain entirely similar courses of tonal action, from rich, low-end bass thumps to expansive sonic atmospheres.

To boot, Microwave 1's preloaded, adjustable spectrum analyzer has given complete visual awareness of sound for more detailed sound manufacturing — not to mention an onboard digital noise engine, analog amplifier, and panning tools to dial down movements within your sound to a T. It's all thanks to a carefully-designed software version of the original unit's ASIC circuit, boiled down and reconstructed for digital use while retaining the characteristics and output of a true piece of hardware history.
