This Melodica Piano 26 is another easy-to-use and beautiful-sounding reed instrument made by the German company Hohner. The sound is generated by blowing air through a mouthpiece into fine brass reeds like those used in Harmonicas, this one sounds very rich and warm.

This underrated instrument was used by musicians like UB40, Depeche Mode, The Gorillas, The Hooters, Supertramp, and more.

The Piano 26 Melodicas were maybe the best-selling Melodicas of that time, this old, plastic, and fantastic beauty was recorded with four different types of microphones through well-selected preamps after some time-consuming experiments. And they were recorded in three different playing styles.
