AXXESS retains the warm analogue sound and fundamental architecture at the heart of the original 1975 AXXE, but builds on it in ways that extend its sonic and musical capabilities. This emulation of the famous synth is the sibling of our award-winning Oddity3 and inherited its character.

AXXESS features an efficient Preset Browser, over 350 new presets, a new sub-oscillator, an arpeggiator and a straightforward 16-step sequencer, biting distortion, analogue delay and luscious Reverb effects, a Vintage control to add authentic analogue imperfections, velocity to filter and VCA for expressivity and a fully scalable UI designs.

By the mid-1970s, analog synthesis had only recently migrated from the realms of laboratories and experimentation, quickly catching on among musicians of countless styles. In 1975, an iconic analog synthesizer birthed a single-oscillator sibling, bringing these innovative sound-design tools to a broader audience. GForce’s AXXESS is both a love letter to that classic instrument and the enduring influence of the era, as well as a bold reimagining of the sleeper-hit synth that expands its capabilities to exciting, modern territories without alienating the characteristic analog textures that defined it. The physical predecessor to GForce’s AXXESS Virtual Analog Synthesizer brandished a relatively limited set of sound-shaping features rooted in a single-oscillator monophonic architecture with a handful of modulation options. While this made it great for basses or leads, its unmodified output was often thin, and effects were limited. AXXESS sees GForce meticulously crafting a reimagined version of that classic synth that extends to every area, introducing more along the way. Voicing has been expanded from monophonic playback to include both a monophonic legato and polyphonic mode, with an additional sub-oscillator to inject new dimensions of tone to your style. Rhythmic runs are instantly on tap, thanks to the arpeggiator and 16-step sequencer, with boundless texturization tools available at your disposal via an onboard FX suite of searing distortion, time-bending delay, and cavernous reverb. If that weren’t impressive enough, AXXESS features full-stereo panning to send your sonics throughout the spacetime continuum.

Taking a cue from their award-winning Oddity3 soft synth, GForce set out to ensure that AXXESS would be as intuitively accessible as it is sonically powerful. Its UI is fully scalable to meet the needs of any audiovisual workflow, and its 350-plus presets are housed within a browser that pairs detailed tagging with flexible, easily searched organization. Each pre-crafted, pro-grade patch was designed in tandem with a diverse array of artists and sound designers to provide a comprehensive cross-section of hip-hop, synth-pop, cinematic, ambient, drum and bass, and prog-rock styles alongside the pantheon of innumerable permutations of electronica.
