HOW TO INSTALL ON WINDOWS

1. Run the FAYA Installer.exe Installer

This program will install the VST3 in your Program Files/Common Files/VST3 folder
And DLL (VST2) in your Program Files/VST Plugins folder. If the EXE Installer gives an error about protection, click on “more” and then “Open anyway”

Or close the installer and Install using the “Manual Installation” provided in the download :

A - Copy FAYA.dll in Program Files/VST Plugins (or any custom folder you used for dll plugins)
B - Copy FAYA.vst3 in Program Files/Common Files/VST3
C.1- Press Windows Key + R
C.2 - In new window paste this path %APPDATA%/ and hit Enter key
C.3 - If you have a Digikitz Folder open it, if not Create a new Digikitz Folder
C.4 - Copy the FAYA folder from Manual Installation to The AppData/Digikitz

2. Rescan plugins on your DAW

3. Open FAYA from your DAW

4. You will be asked to Install Samples or Choose Samples Folder

Click on “Install Samples” Browse your download folder and load the FAYA_1_0_Samples.hr1 file

4.1 Choose a folder where to extract the samples
4.2 Click Ok to run the extraction

5. Close FAYA and Open it again

IMPORTANT : If you did not perform action 4 correctly and have issues playing the sounds, go to :

Press Windows Key + R
In new window paste this path %APPDATA%/ and hit Enter key
Open Digikitz/FAYA
Delete the file named LinkWindows
Restart from step 3.

HOW TO INSTALL ON MAC

1. Run the FAYA Installer.pkg Installer

This program will install the AU, VST and VST3 Packages in your /Library/Audio/Plugins Respective
folders. If the PKG Installer gives any error or does not run, Install using the Manual Installation as it
Follows :

Go to the Manual Installation Folder provided in the Download and Copy :
FAYA.vst in MacHD/Library/Audio/Plugins/VST
FAYA.vst3 in MacHD/Library/Audio/Plugins/VST3
FAYA.component in MacHD/Library/Audio/Plugins/Components
“Digikitz/FAYA” Folder in “MacHD/Users/”yourusername”/library*/Application
Support/Digikitz**/

* This is a hidden folder, To Show library under users folder please hit cmd + Shift + “.” (dot)
** If you already own a Digikitz Plugin, the folder will be already there, just copy the FAYA Folder inside it
