The amps

From shimmering cleans to bone-rattling crunch to face-melting distortion, the PRS Archon delivers lush tone by the boatload. With an arsenal of sumptuous gain on tap, the Archon is ideal for any musical genre. The PRS Dallas is based on a classic American 6L6 reverb amp. With its huge sound, the Dallas delivers sparkling cleans and multiple flavors of overdrive, along with great-sounding reverb.

Originally designed by chief PRS amp designer Doug Sewell, this highly musical amp offers sweet highs, authoritative lows, and present midrange. The PRS Blue Sierra/V9, a prototype that became the J-MOD 100, has never been released as hardware. Now, this ultra-rare amp is yours in a plug-in. Bringing to mind certain boutique American guitar amps, Blue Sierra's big, dimensional sound ranges from clean to medium gain.

Mix and match Cab IRs

Because different speakers and speaker cabinets deliver different sounds. PRS SuperModels lets you choose from eight speaker cabinet IRs (impulse responses), recorded by Paul Reed Smith at his personal studio using his proven mics and preamps. As a bonus, you can add up to two simultaneous third-party IRs.

SuperModels’ cutting-edge Phase Fix and Time Fix controls automatically correct any phase or latency issues between different IRs. Its Smart Mix control balances the perceived volume of IRs when you use two cabinets. An IR browser lets you automatically load and switch IRs, freeing you up for playing.
