Polaris redefines orchestral synthesis by transforming traditional string ensemble performances into dynamic, synth-like soundscapes. With its groundbreaking eDNA engine, you can sculpt and layer intricate sounds, while the new Granular Engine opens up further avenues for sonic exploration. Featuring 129 articulations—including 94 based on original string performances and 35 layered 'Synergy' patches—plus 54 unique noise sources recorded by BTT, Polaris provides a massive palette of 421 presets created by BT and the Spitfire Team. This unique fusion of organic and digital textures makes Polaris an essential tool for cinematic scoring, experimental music, and innovative sound design.

Whether you are a tweakhead or time-conscious composer preferring presets, Polaris has what you need - Made up of three parts; the organic Strings Orchestra, Classic synths and Vintage Resampling including manipulated sounds via tape, VHS and more, there are endless possibilities for experimentation and customisation inside the eDNA engine as well as the new granular machine.

The eDNA interface allows you to play and pair 2 sound sources from the incredible 129 articulations available. Manipulate, layer and blend sounds with FX, gates and much more to create a whole new personalised sound to fit your music.
