Albion Tundra brings together the power of a 100-piece orchestra recorded on tape at AIR Studios with advanced, multi-dynamic performance capabilities. Featuring 133 articulations across strings, brass, and woodwinds—including 38 violins with 32 articulations, 12 celli and 6 basses with 30 articulations, and unique brass and woodwind textures—this library offers authentic orchestral expressivity. Enhanced by innovative modules like the Vral Grid for evolving drones, Stephenson’s Steam Band for organic pads via the eDNA interface, Brunel Loops with tempo-synced rhythmic instruments played by Paul Clarvis, and a dedicated Darwin Percussion patch, Albion Tundra provides an extensive palette of sound and creative flexibility.

Brass & Woodwind Articulations: 17 unique articulations for brass ensembles (Mid and Low) and 18 for woodwinds (High and Mid).
Premium Recording Quality: Captured in situ using priceless valve and ribbon mics, processed through Neve Montserrat preamps into a Neve 88R desk, and recorded digitally at 96k via 2" Studer tape.
